Canggu area is not short of place to eat sushi. But it was raining that day when Ethan wanted to eat sushi. So we decided to go to sushi restaurant that is along the way to our hotel. We stopped by at Waroeng Sushi. It wasn’t a large place, with only 3 tables for guest. Just right for us I would say.
Ethan, as usual, ordered his standard menu. The food that come is not really standard I would say. Starting with tobiko sushi, it comes with sesame seed on top. Then the kani sushi come with shredded kani instead of kani stick.
I was tempted to order katsu curry rice. But the staff convinced me to try their top menu called paradise roll. It is basically a mixed of salmon and avocado roll with tempura inside, topped with mayonnaise. Mind you that paradise roll is big portion sufficient enough for sharing
Other that sushi, I also ordered Gyoza and Sake Sashimi for starters. The gyoza taste rather plain, and the Sake Sashimi was OK.

On our way out, happy with our dinner, we could not help but notice the offering for prayer in front of the door. One item in the offering is sushi and scaterred sushi rice. Definitely something that you won’t find elsewhere
