Pison Coffee, as the name said, is more famous for the coffee instead of for its food. But a good coffee need to be enjoyed with 2 things: good companion and good food. We had good companions joining us for coffee and breakfast, and wising that Pison Coffee to provide the good food.
It was raining heavily when we arrived around 8 am. Big trouble, we said to ourselves. There are no parking within convenient distance, and our rental car didn’t come with umbrellas. Just then, a car pulled out from what seems to be the only parking space at Pison. We immediately pulled in and greeted with the valet’s crew.
The first menu that we ordered is of course, coffee. One Hot Americano to warm up in the cold Bali morning, while our eyes run through the menu. We picked Pork Belly Fried Rice, Salmon Bagel and Ice Cream Pancake for dessert. It was a cold morning, but there is always room for Ice Cream.
While waiting for our food, our friends came. They ordered some more food. Not long until all of our foods came. It was a quiet not-so-crowded morning and Pison Coffee. Just right for 5 of us there to have a warm chat.
When it is time to leave, we were happy with full tummy and good chat. The food in Pison might not be the best in town. But we found that the warmth of the place is definitely great for a hearty morning breakfast with friends.
